Senior Wealth Associate – US

This client-facing and supporting role offers opportunities for accelerated learning and professional development and is suitable for individuals aspiring for a career as an adviser or as a senior relationship manager. In this role, you will interact with clients of the firm independently covering a diverse range of services.
 
The ideal candidate is seeking a long-term career as a financial adviser and can make a commitment to developing with the role and building client relationships while supporting a diverse client base and a growing team of financial professionals.
 
Core Job Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive support for senior advisers and their clients
  • Schedule and prepare for review meetings with clients 
  • Oversee data entry of new client information into CRM and other systems
  • Assist in the client onboarding process, including interacting directly with clients and their other tax and legal advisers
  • Prepare reports and financial statements for clients in Word and Excel
  • Prepare client and prospect presentations in Power Point
  • Coordinate information requests for advisers and their clients and organize client data 
  • Attend client meetings and independently manage follow up 
  • Build relationships with clients and prospects of the firm, helping to grow the firm’s revenue and offer a broader range of services to existing clients
  • Participate in the firm’s marketing efforts and engage with prospects as part of the follow up

Core Skills and Qualifications

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in wealth management and client relationship management 
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field
  • Team player able to work with other client advisers and senior management in supporting some of the firm’s largest and most complex clients.  Also able to assist in training and developing junior advisers’ skills in client planning
  • Poised and professional presentation skills and ability to interact confidently with clients of the firm
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.  Able to communicate ideas and proposals to sophisticated clients
  • Extensive background in use of Windows and Microsoft based products, including Office applications (Word, Excel including pivot tables, and PowerPoint). Knowledge of and ability to learn and use CRM systems and software for client and company reporting
  • Ability to work both independently and with a diverse, international team
  • Series 6/7/63/65 licensing preferred. CFP/CFA/CPA/TEP or an interest in obtaining these or other relevant credentials is a plus
  • Experience in tax planning, estate planning, or philanthropic planning preferred.  Business development experience and entrepreneurial spirit are a plus
  • Ability to adhere to the highest standards of confidentiality and integrity
  • Clean U4. Ability to provide references and submit to a background and credit check
