Kanako Akiyama

Kanako is a Senior Tax Associate at Leo Wealth Japan KK. Based in Tokyo, Kanako is responsible for supporting the Tax team in their day-to-day operation. She is specialized in individual income tax compliance and consulting.

Prior to Leo Wealth, Kanako worked as Tax Associate at PwC Tax Japan, where she provided Japan individual tax compliance services, as well as tax consulting services for both inbound and outbound expatriates. She has worked closely with companies in a wide number of industries such as health care, law firms, aircraft manufacturers, and financial services.

Kanako earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Southeast Missouri State University. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son and dog, traveling and running.
