Matthew Allain

Matthew Allain is Chief Executive Officer at Leo Capital Corporation, parent company of Leo Wealth, an independent global wealth advisor. Based in New York City, Matthew oversees the various business interests of the company and its subsidiaries across all business lines, while also working directly with a select number of strategic clients.

Matthew is passionate about helping individuals and their families achieve their financial objectives by building/preserving wealth and reducing tax exposure. Leo Wealth clients, particularly clients utilizing the company’s family office services, have significant wealth that requires an effortful coordination of taxes, concierge services, estate planning, and investments.

Matthew has held various positions in the financial services industry as an attorney, tax specialist and wealth manager. Matthew was Vice President of Financial Counseling in the Ayco division of Goldman Sachs for nearly 12 years. Earlier in his career, he worked in the insurance industry with a focus on property & casualty exposures and small commercial lines. While at Ayco/Goldman Sachs, Matthew specialized in individual & corporate engagements throughout the United States and Europe. He became the lead liaison to several large global public companies.

Matthew received a BS in Architecture & Civil Engineering from Catholic University in Washington, DC, a Juris Doctorate from Suffolk University Law School in Boston, and an Investment Management Certificate from Wharton’s Executive Education Program.
